Terms of Service

By accessing or using Discipline Maniac (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 13, do not create an account or use the Service.

You can use the Service as a guest without signing in. Guest data is tied to a random identifier stored in your browser. If you clear your browser storage or use a different device, guest data may no longer be accessible. Creating a free account lets you keep and sync your data across devices. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure.

Some features (Pro plans, freeze packs, and team seats) require payment. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store your card details. Lifetime access, when granted, is available only through an administrator-issued activation code and is not a user-purchasable plan.

• Monthly and other subscription plans recur until cancelled.
• Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends.
• You can cancel a subscription through your Razorpay billing or by contacting support; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund already-charged periods unless required by law.
• An active subscription may be required to keep using certain paid features. If a payment fails, access may be limited until resolved.

The referral program rewards you (in referral wallet credit) when someone you invited signs up and completes a qualifying first check-in. By participating you agree that:

• You will only share your referral code with people you genuinely invited.
• Fraud, self-referral, or gaming the program (multiple accounts, fake signups, bots) may void rewards, and we may close accounts involved in abuse.
• Rewards are provided at our discretion and may be changed or discontinued.

You own the content you create. You grant us a limited right to store, display, and process it to operate the Service.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• post illegal, abusive, harassing, or hateful content;
• harass, stalk, or impersonate other people;
• attempt to break, probe, or abuse the Service, its rate limits, or its security controls;
• upload malware or content you do not have the right to use;
• attempt to access another user’s or guest’s account or data.

Chat features are optional and require consent. Messages you send in chats are visible to the other participants, and may be visible to site administrators for safety and moderation.

The Service, including its branding, design, code, and the “Discipline Maniac” name, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law. You may export your own data as described in Settings.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Discipline Maniac is a habit-tracking tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical, mental-health, or financial advice. Use it at your own discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or ₹500 if you paid nothing).

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your account data. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraud, or abuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will continue to apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under consumer-protection or data-protection law.
